End of Foundation course Exhibition at Coleg Ceredigion, Summer 2014.
As with my last exhibition I was given a brief of a series of working titles. I initially chose the title, Spaces and Traces, but as time went on and I developed my project, I changed to the title "Everything Flows and Nothing Stays". My work consisted of a short film as the main piece of work, and my art works that I used in the film were displayed as a storyboard on the wall. I also produced a number of typography pieces of work which I will be offering in future as prints.

"I don't understand why when we destroy something created by man we call it vandalism, but when we destroy something by Nature we call it progress"
- Ed Begley Jr.
Having an interest in nature, environmental issues and the welfare of our precious planet, I have chosen the working title Everything Flows and Nothing Stays.
My short animation is based on an idea that I have had for some time and a fascination that I have for the ability nature has to regenerate itself in the most obscure of places. Humans have a need for building and the planet is suffering under an overpopulation of humans and their incessant progression into the few remaining green spaces.
Through the use of watercolours, ink, coffee and alcohol, (vodka) I have illustrated this short film..... Nature flows, nothing man made stays forever, nature always has the resourcefulness to fight back and reclaim what man has tried to destroy.
