MillyanaTrees jewellery and accessories are extremely bold and unique in that they are made from a variety of materials. My jewellery makes use of fabric and embroidery offcuts and recycles them into something new so that there is minimal waste with any of my craft makes. There are a number of wearable accessories listed in the previous pages such as the owl and flower brooches and unicorns and swans can also be worn as a brooch or a necklace if requested. I can be commissioned to make any number of felt jewellery designs, however watch this space for new additions.
Framed Pony Button Necklace
This is an original design by MillyanaTrees. I often find little unusual buttons and this particular one I pictured on a background of grass and hills, so thought of framing it all in a little felt frame which was then put on a necklace. I will be making more designs to add to this collection very soon. So Watch this space. If you have a charm or a button that has broken off a necklace and you would like me to incorporate it into a necklace design then do let me know and I can do some drawings for you prior to the commission to ensure it is what you have in mind.
In the event that I don't have a ready made button available, I may make your button by hand, this is made from wood off-cuts which I hand cut and then painted with a pony detail to fit the customers specifications. So there is no restriction on what is possible as long as I have the foraged materials to hand to make them. I may use found objects to make the buttons as well as wood off cuts or foraged wood from the fields and garden.
Embroidery thread off-cut bangles with added bling.
These are currently just prototypes as I am sourcing the base material to make the body of the bangles with, so watch this space. They are decorated with thread off-cuts, sequins and other embellishments. More designs coming soon. These will be available as stock only as I will make them according to the off-cuts that I have available at the time. Until then you can see me modelling them at various craft fairs around Wales :)
